The triangle positions each program according to the disciplinary balance of its required curriculum. The three vertices represent the disciplines that define PPE and Civic Thought programs: Economics (E) at the top, Politics and Law (P) at the bottom-left, and Philosophy (Φ) at the bottom-right. Each program's location reflects the share of required courses that fall into each category. A program near the Economics vertex requires proportionally more economics; one near the centre has a roughly even spread across all three. Point size shows how many required courses we could classify for each program. Larger points are more reliably placed.
Not every program appears here. We only position programs for which we can assign at least three required courses to economics, politics/law, or philosophy (what we call "classifiable" programs). Programs built primarily around integrative or cross-disciplinary courses, a common feature of Civic Thought programs, cannot be reliably placed this way and are excluded from this view, though they remain fully searchable in the Programs tab.
